With the latest victory of Pretoria’s MMA world champion, Dricus du Plessis, still fresh in their minds, fans of combat sports – and especially Kickboxing – can see top fighters in action this coming weekend at Kings K1’s latest Ultimate Fight Night Experience event.

Get ready for the biggest and most exciting Kings K1 event yet on Saturday 15 February at the new Kings K1 Arena in Edison Crescent, Hennopspark in Centurion.

The organizers promise a night packed with adrenaline, action, and unforgettable moments. The arena’s doors will open at 17:30, while the action, which includes two professional K1 Kickboxing bouts and three Super-Am K1 clashes, will start at 19:00.

One of the rising stars who will be in contention for a belt in a World Association of Kickboxing Organizations (WAKO) Super-Am national title fight, is Pretoria’s own Willie van Rooyen. He is affiliated with the A-Team Stars gym in Gezina in the Moot.

The 21-year-old Van Rooyen, also known as the “White Lion”, fights against Reginald Dithupe, himself known as a tough fighter.

Some of Van Rooyen’s colleagues at the A-team Stars Gymnasium, including Moses Mokhari, Cowun Geyer and promising women’s fighter, Amonique Plaisier – who will be making her debut – will all be in action on Saturday.

Mokhari is one of the professional fighters that will be in action. He will take on Tebatso Molele. Both of them are rising stars of the local EFC organization.

Then there is another local rising star, Cole “The Hitman” Henning from the Brothers in Arms gym in the east of Pretoria, who will fight against Nigerian, Patrick “The Beast” Oche.

As usual, the organizers also promise an ‘After Party’ where well-known artists will perform live.
